About Running2theFuture

Running2theFuture is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps kids stay in sports, school and enrichment programs regardless of what their families can afford.

We pay league fees, gear and transportation so cost never keeps a kid off a team, and we back that up with school supplies, tutoring and mentorship.

Yes. Running2theFuture is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity. Our EIN is 00-0000000.

Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

We serve school-age kids whose families could not otherwise afford sports, tutoring or enrichment activities.

Programs run in the neighborhoods, schools and community centers where our kids already live and learn. Each event listing shows its location.

Ashton Jeanty

NFL running back Ashton Jeanty founded Running2theFuture to give back to the community that shaped him.

He started with a backpack drive and grew it into year-round programs. Read the full story on our About page.

Ashton attends events whenever his schedule allows, and he stays involved in planning year-round.

Appearances depend on the football calendar, so we do not promise he will be at a specific event. Follow our News and social channels for updates.

Programs

We run three kinds of programs: sports, education and enrichment.

Sports covers league fees, gear, uniforms and rides. Education covers backpacks, school supplies and tutoring. Enrichment covers camps, field trips and mentorship experiences.

Programs are free and open to school-age kids whose families need help covering the cost.

Ages vary by program. Our youth flag football league is for ages 8 to 14. Backpack drives are open to any local student.

Use the contact form and choose “Refer a kid” as the topic.

Tell us the child’s age, school and interests. We reply to every message and will let you know what is open now and what is coming next.
